We require a calf rearer for the spring.  Ideally the applicant will be reliable, strong and able to work in all weathers.  The position could work around school hours, or twice a day, but is seven days a week, for a minimum of eight weeks, to get us through the busy period.   If interested relief milking could also be available over the entire season.   No experience required as full training will be provided.   You must be currently living in New Zealand and eligible to work in New Zealand to apply for this job.

We are looking for someone to drive in to milk the morning shift at our farm near Walton.  Will be milking in a herringbone cowshed, this will be getting in cows , milking , and clean up.  Will be around 3 to 4 hours per shift.  During calving there could be extra hours available if wanted to help with calves etc.   Can be somewhat flexible on roster for the right person.

Hi there, We run a 300 cow farm near Manaia, Taranaki. We have outstanding facilities and farm on flat productive land. Our cows are high producing Freisan cross cows who are quiet and a pleasure to work with. The farm is 300 cows milked through a 44 bail rotary, cup removers, protrack, fully automated, one person shed. This farm is run by an awesome Manager. We are looking for someone to join our great team to cover time off throughout the season, and also assist at calving time with cows and calves in. Generally rostered on 12:2 for milkings, Saturday and Sunday every second weekend up until November. Then 11:3 roster from November to dry off time, so then Friday to Sunday milking every second weekend.   The position is drive in, there is no available accommodation on the farm. This role is for a milk harvester on set days of Tuesday to Friday, or could be on a rotation that works for you. The rotation will be a 4 on 4 off  Your role will primarily milking alongside another staff member. The hours will be between 30-40 a week with chance of picking up extra hours when other staff has time off.
