Senior Farm Assistant position available working along side farm owners and two other staff member. 450 cows. TAD. 40 ASHB. . The applicant must be self motivated, reliable and honest person to help with general farm duties and milking cows. Have at least 3 years NZ experience. Keen to progress. Have basic knowledge and understanding of farm duties, milking, animal health, effluent management, and calf rearing. Must have basic tractor experience. Ability to work alone and within a team. Good communication and shows efficiency. Can pass a drug test. Provide 2 x references Applicants must have NZ residency or right to work in NZ.

Implementing the general operation of this dairy farm to a high standard with the help and insight of sharemilker and herd manager/2Ic. This farm is a 280ha 600cow spring calving dairy farm, 50 rotary cowshed, herd home, running system 3. Our business also runs a 150ha 300cow spring calving dairy farm, herringbone cowshed, system 2 Dairy farms are 10mins apart.
