We have a job available for an experienced all-rounder dairy farm assistant on a 650-cow farm in the Parakao area, approximately 30 minutes west of Whangarei, milking through a 50 Bail Rotary shed.  This role is open to NZ Residents/Citizens You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking  shifting cows and feeding  fencing, weed control calving, calf rearing shed cleaning and setup identifying and alerting managers to sick cows setting fences driving 2/4 wheelers or side-by-side and other all-around farm duties Weekly hours are a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 50. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid at the agreed overtime rate. We are looking for a Dairy Farm Assistant to join a 250-cow farm in the Whakapara area, milking through a 20-aside herringbone shed. Experience is preferred but not required for this role. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: - Milking twice a day - shifting cows and feeding  - fencing, weed control - calving, calf rearing - shed cleaning and setup - identifying and alerting managers to sick cows - Setting fences - and other general farm duties.
