We are looking for a motivated energetic person to join our team. Ideally this person would have some experience in the daily farm tasks and experience milking in a herringbone shed. We milk 750 cows in two herds through a 40 aside shed on a 174ha milking platform with attached 118ha support block for silage, wintering, r1 and r2 heifers. Duties will include but not limited to, milking, break feeding, weed control, fence and farm maintenance, calf rearing and young stock care. Applicants need to be currently in nz with relevant visa as we are NOT accredited employers, and be able to attend an on farm interview.   We can offer the successful person a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, support ITO training if desired. Motivated Farm Assistant required who wants to learn and progress in the dairy industry. Duties include but are not limited to Milking Cows , setting break fences, animal health, treating sick and lame cows, calf rearing and moving k line irrigation. Minimum of 6 months dairy experience in New Zealand Remuneration dependent on experience Rotary shed with cup removers. We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Herd Manager for our 630 Cow Dairy Farm. Milking through a 50 bail rotary shed with ACR's. Irrigation comprises of pivots, k lines and sprinklers. We are looking to take on someone with impeccable animal husbandry skills and great communication skills. You will have great time management and be reliable.
