Immediate Start Date for the right person. Senior farm assistant/milk harvester required until 31 May 2027. This is a fixed term due to farm converting to solar. Possible employment on our other farm next season. Both farms within 10km of Opunake. Position involves primarily milking. The shed is a 62 aside herringbone with 3 milkers in the shed. Maximum 40 hours per week - hours and roster negotiable. Start Date Negotiable. Could include day work if wanted. School bus at gate.  

We have a position available for a reliable drive-in relief milker. Must be reliable and pleasant,  Milking 440 spring calving cows through an 36aside herringbone. Duties would include milking and cleaning/wash up with the help of another team member. Milkings available would ideally be every second weekend or every weekend but happy to discuss options. This is a drive in position, postion start date is negotiable, willing to provide training for a willing applicant, must have nz residency or a valid work visa as we are not accredited employers  5 minutes from Woodville and 10 from pahiatua 

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing. We rear ~70 replacement calves and they stay on farm until 1st May. This is a great opportunity to work with the farm owners and set yourself up for a great career in dairying.
