We have a vacancy for a honest & reliable farm assistant on a 450 cow farm. 12 minutes from Feilding and 25 minutes from Palmerston North. Duties would include Milking and general farm duties. A minimum of one year’s recent dairy farm experience in New Zealand required. Must pass a pre employment drug test. Drivers license required. 1 bedroom accommodation is available would suit a single person. 

Our team requires a key piece for our puzzle. We are after an enthusiastic and switched on individual who is looking to learn and grow. We have 220 cows on 90 Ha going through a 20 ASHB cowshed. On a stunning farm with pockets of native bush and beautiful views just outside Marton. You can expect to work alongside the Contract Milker. We are focused on refining systems and processes to maintain animal welfare and support this progressive farm to improve and exceed expectations. The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the farm and will require the following skills/attributes: Honest, hardworking, trusted and reliable team player. Outstanding communication skills. Excellent animal husbandry skills. A NZ driver’s licence. Ability to work in New Zealand. Understanding of all aspects of the day to day operations of a dairy farm.
