We are after a Farm Assistant to join the team as our current farm assistant is finishing up after calving. We are a 650 (peak) cow farm. Milking through a 30 a side herringbone shed with cup removers. Farm is flat to rolling contour. Farm duties include but not limited to Milking Shed/plant cleaning and maintenance Weed control Fencing Effluent management General stock management General R&M This position is until the end of the 2026/2027 season.  The ideal applicant would have NZ farming experience. Must be able to work well in a team and independently. Follow instructions. Able to identify animal health issues. Farm is situated 10mins North of Tokoroa. Fulltime farm assistant required to cover the Rostered days off of our 3 permanent staff for the busy spring period. You will work 10 days a fortnight  as part of the team doing all jobs through the busy spring calving and mating period. The accommodation is one 4 bedroom house to share with our other farm assistant, a young single guy. You must be in New Zealand, and be able to be interviewed on farm to look at the role. We have a good team but need one more person and look forward to the chance for one more person to join our team to spread the load. The position starts at the start of calving. Milking : Assist with the milking of 650 jersey cross cows through a 36 aside herringbone shed Calf Rearing:  Feeding and monitoring the health of 250+ calves, and preserving a clean and healthy                                  environment Farm maintenance ; including the up-keep of machinary, fences, waterlines and weed control Stock management : Moving and drafting stock, and setting up of break fences. Our herd manager will be taking maternity leave at the end of the year and we are looking for a relief staff member who would like to gain more experience on farm while she is away! We are milking 500 fresian cows in a 40 a/s herringbone . Located near Arapuni. The job would require twice a day milkings. We are looking for someone dedicated, responsible with reliable transportation and a lack of excuses. We are a fun young team and love to have a laugh and reach our goals. There is plenty of work available for an employee outside of milkings if looking to gain more hours during the day on farm. This position would need at least 1 year experience milking in a herringbone. September 2026 to April 2027 We are looking for some great Agricultural tractor drivers to join our Agricultural Contracting team for a New Zealand silage and cropping season. Our farm milks 800  cows  on  315 hectares  and rears approximately  260 replacement heifers and jersey bull calves each year. This role involves feeding and caring for calves, monitoring animal health, maintaining clean calf-rearing facilities, and helping ensure calves achieve excellent growth and welfare standards.
