This position is part time, fixed term. Daily tasks include:  feeding and care of calves, m onitoring calf health and wellbeing, c leaning and maintaining calf-rearing facilities, a ssisting with all general calf management tasks as part of a team. Previous calf-rearing experience is essential as well as g ood stock sense and attention to detail with animal welfare, the a bility to work independently and as part of a team, r eliable, hardworking, and physically fit, competent in using a 4 wheeler and S-B-S.  The successful applicant must be living in New Zealand, NZ residents only, have a current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle. Hi there, We are looking for a team member to join us as milk harvester/farm hand to join us for the new season. This role ideally would suit a drive-in, but a small self contained 1 bedroom cabin may be able to be organised. In that case, will suit a single person only, NO Families We are based 10-15 minutes east of Tokoroa. Role can be tailored to suit the right applicant and is being created to help ease the workload of the team over early spring time in particular, then the rest of the seasons work. Roster 4 on 3 off *Drive in, otherwise potential 1 bedroom self-contained cabin could be available. 

We are looking for someone to take the lead as a calf rearer, with assistance from our other farm staff. We will be rearing approximately 150 replacement heifer calves plus a few beef calves across two neighbouring farms. Position to start 13th July, for about 10 weeks.  Ideally a 6 : 1 position with Sundays off. There is also a possibility of taking on some relief milkings through the rest of the season if desired.
