Milking : Assist with the milking of 650 jersey cross cows through a 36 aside herringbone shed Calf Rearing:  Feeding and monitoring the health of 250+ calves, and preserving a clean and healthy                                  environment Farm maintenance ; including the up-keep of machinary, fences, waterlines and weed control Stock management : Moving and drafting stock, and setting up of break fences. Machinary Operation : Operating 2 and 4 wheel bikes, and Tractors for the purpose of general farm tasks Health and Safety : Adhere to farm safety protocols, and environmental guidelines 

We are after a Farm Assistant to join the team as our current farm assistant is finishing up after calving. We are a 650 (peak) cow farm. Milking through a 30 a side herringbone shed with cup removers. Farm is flat to rolling contour. Farm duties include but not limited to Milking Shed/plant cleaning and maintenance Weed control Fencing Effluent management General stock management General R&M This position is until the end of the 2026/2027 season.  The ideal applicant would have NZ farming experience. Must be able to work well in a team and independently. Follow instructions. Able to identify animal health issues. Farm is situated 10mins North of Tokoroa. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for someone to join us on our Dairy Farm near Morrinsville. We are milking 300 crossbred cows on 107ha 15 minutes North of Morrinsville. We have a brand new 30 aside herringbone cowshed with automatic cup removers and auto yard wash. There is a tidy 3 bedroom home available. The farm is grass based with grass and grass silage as the main feeds so this is a great place to learn excellent pasture management. We do about 110,000kgMS per year and typically go OAD in January each year. We aim for best practice in every area especially cow health, incalf rates, SCC and youngstock rearing. We rear ~70 replacement calves and they stay on farm until 1st May. This is a great opportunity to work with the farm owners and set yourself up for a great career in dairying. We are looking for a drive in relief milker to join our team. Our herd manager will be taking maternity leave at the end of the year and we are looking for a relief staff member who would like to gain more experience on farm while she is away! We are milking 500 fresian cows in a 40 a/s herringbone . Located near Arapuni. The job would require twice a day milkings. We are looking for someone dedicated, responsible with reliable transportation and a lack of excuses. We are a fun young team and love to have a laugh and reach our goals. There is plenty of work available for an employee outside of milkings if looking to gain more hours during the day on farm. This position would need at least 1 year experience milking in a herringbone. All applicants must be in New Zealand with a current work visa, a reliable mode of transportation, and be substance free.
