Luscombe Farm Partnership is requiring a Relief Milker / Calf Rearer. The calf rearing position will commence mid July through to approximately mid September where you will be required to work with one other person and alone on some occasions.  We will be rearing around 130 heifer calves as well as beef calves. Hours will be discussed with the successful applicant. The relief milking position will be on an on-call basis and will be an ongoing position on farm milking 580 cows in a 60 bale rotary shed.   You must be reliable and fit and able to start work in July.  Must have a NZ working Visa and reside in NZ.

Milking in a 50-bail rotary, possible option of feeding out, loading wagon & scraping pad. Fixed-term  Late July - 18th Dec 2026, but with an option to extend for the right applicant. Must be NZ resident

*** we will only consider applicants who already live within 45mins drive, with own transportation *** Seeking someone to drive in and assist with calf rearing for spring. Ad lib calf feeding system.  Role includes; Teaching new calves to drink, filling up ad lib feeders, checking calf hygiene. 2 hours a day. 8am-10am daily. Approx start: 22nd July until 1st of October 2026.
