Hello! I am looking for a relief milker for a 415 cow dairy farm on Oreipunga Road, Maungatautari.  We are milking 415 cows through a 36 aside herringbone shed. Calving Starts 7 July, and we milk twice a day all season. The role is that of a shed assist: you will be working alongside the contract milker to cover employee time off. Ideally you will work every second weekend, for 3 days, either Friday to Sunday, or Saturday to Monday. If you are interested please get in touch and we can discuss further. Thanks

drive in only relief milking job + general farm duties $30 per hour 50 bale rotary 1 or 2 weeks of avaible work we are drying off our 400 cow herd, down to less than half but hopefully will continue to milk all through the season. currently 6am cups on. afternoons is 3pm cups on, only 30-40min afternoon milkings not including cow collection and cleaning down. main farm duties would include dusting/fencing and possibly feeding out. how many extra hours available for you out of our shorter milking times would depend on your fencing skills etc

We are husband/wife sharemilkers with no staff, looking for a reliable relief milker so that we can have some time off. Recently renovated 3 bedroom house available on farm if required. We are looking for a Calf Rearer to help through this season starting at the end of July. We will be rearing around 100 heifer replacement calves and up to approx. 50 beef calves. We are flexible on hours worked but ideally everyday, We expect the work period to be around 8 weeks, this is a drive in postion on Oreipunga Road, Cambridge.  We have staff available to assist when and as required. Looking for an experienced calf rearer for the calving season. This is a drive in position, no accommodation available on farm.  Farm is located 10 minutes from Matamata on the Kaimai range. Close proximity to Morrinsville, Te Poi, Walton and Te Aroha.  Required for 8 weeks from 25th July till the middle of September.  Rearing 130 replacement calves and around 40 beef calves.  Ad-lib milk feeding system.  Good infrastructure.  Roughly 3-3.5 hours in the morning + 1.5-2 hours in the afternoon.  Must be able to work weekends to help cover staff time off. All negotiable. 

We have an opportunity for a casual staff member to help us on our two farms over the calving and mating period (July-Dec). We have two dairy farms both running 300 cows located 10mins North of Morrinsville. The role will mainly involve milking and some small duties either side of milking like collecting cows or cleaning up. The hours will be roughly 20-30hrs per week and are to help during the days staff are rostered off, you will most likely be working directly with the farm owner.
