We are looking for a Calf Rearer to help through this season starting at the end of July. We will be rearing around 100 heifer replacement calves and up to approx. 50 beef calves. We are flexible on hours worked but ideally everyday, We expect the work period to be around 8 weeks, this is a drive in postion on Oreipunga Road, Cambridge.  We have staff available to assist when and as required. We require a calf rearer for the spring.  Ideally the applicant will be reliable, strong and able to work in all weathers.  The position could work around school hours, or twice a day, but is seven days a week, for a minimum of eight weeks, to get us through the busy period.   If interested relief milking could also be available over the entire season.   No experience required as full training will be provided.   You must be currently living in New Zealand and eligible to work in New Zealand to apply for this job.

Looking for an experienced calf rearer for the calving season. This is a drive in position, no accommodation available on farm.  Farm is located 10 minutes from Matamata on the Kaimai range. Close proximity to Morrinsville, Te Poi, Walton and Te Aroha.  Required for 8 weeks from 25th July till the middle of September.  Rearing 130 replacement calves and around 40 beef calves.  Ad-lib milk feeding system.  Good infrastructure.  Roughly 3-3.5 hours in the morning + 1.5-2 hours in the afternoon.  Must be able to work weekends to help cover staff time off. We have an opportunity for a casual staff member to help us on our two farms over the calving and mating period (July-Dec). We have two dairy farms both running 300 cows located 10mins North of Morrinsville. The role will mainly involve milking and some small duties either side of milking like collecting cows or cleaning up. The hours will be roughly 20-30hrs per week and are to help during the days staff are rostered off, you will most likely be working directly with the farm owner. We are a large-scale dairy farm just outside of Mossburn, Northern Southland.  We are looking for 2 calf rearers to join our team for the upcoming season starting 25th of July and finishing end of September / early October (exact dates are negotiable). This job would ideally suit a couple or 2 friends. Roster is 6/1 or 6/2 depending on the time of the season.  Ideally some experience of caring for animals or working on a farm is preferred but not essential. The key attributes we are looking for is stamina and grit, a great attitude to work, easy to get along with, happy to get their hands dirty (literally), patience, awareness of health and safety, genuine care and consideration for animals and a sense of humour.
