We are looking for 2 staff members to Join us from calving season onwards. Your main job is to feed new born calves, prepare calf pens, shift calves as required. Give some basic remady or treatment if needed.  Approx 450 calves to rear. There is possibility of some relief milking work for you if you are willing to do it. Some working with animals experience preferred but not necessary. Working hours per week ranging from 30 to 50 with hourly rate from $24 to $30 depending on your capabilties. Shared accommodation available on farm, on a agreed weekly charge.

We're on the hunt for a motivated and reliable Calf Rearer to join our team from 20 July 2026 through to Mid/End September there can be further work for the rest of the season relief milking for the right person. All types of work available  Calf rearing Relief Milking Feeding out /Tractor driving Working with young stock weigh/drench/dna/tagging Effluent system Weed control We are located in Manakau, Levin is 15mins, Otaki 10 mins Our farm has come a long way- The cowshed is fitted with cup removers, auto drafting, auto teat spraying, auto plant wash, inshed feeding + mineral dispensers We have just completed our new composting cow barn which will be a pleasure to use in winter/wet weather/drought, feeding silage is all done at the barn. We will be online with the HALTER system within the next month.
