In search of reliable energetic worker to help  milk 330 cows in a 30 aside herringbone. We require a person that can work as part of a  team as well as independently. The farm is situated in the Manawatu approx. 10mins from Palmerston North and Feilding Accommodation  available on farm or willing to travel. Some experience preferred Daily tasks would include but are not limited to Milking & shed hygiene  Fencing & break Fences Calving cows & Feeding Calves Basic Tractor Work Stock Work Routine General Maintenance Restricted or higher NZ Drivers License is required  Applicants must be drug free Must be in NZ Not AEWV accredited 

Relief milking position. Support from permanent employed staff when needed. Milking 1000 cows through an 80 bail rotary cowshed. Short-Term Calf Rearer Role We are looking for a Calf Rearer to join our team from 20 July . We calve approximately 560 cows , and the role will run from late July through to September/October. Key details: Approximately 6 hours per day during the peak calving period. Hours will reduce to around 4 hours per day from late August/September. Ability to work 7 days per week is required. Main duties include feeding and caring for calves, maintaining calf sheds, and monitoring calf health. At times, assistance will be needed to collect calves from paddocks . Previous calf-rearing experience is preferred, but a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential.

We are looking for 2 staff members to Join us from calving season onwards. Your main job is to feed new born calves, prepare calf pens, shift calves as required. Give some basic remady or treatment if needed.  Approx 450 calves to rear. There is possibility of some relief milking work for you if you are willing to do it.
