Join Our Team as a Casual Calf Rearer – Dairy Farm Opportunity We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and animal-loving person to join our team as a Casual Calf Rearer on our dairy farm near Rolleston. Key Responsibilities: PM calf feeding Monitoring calf health and wellbeing Cleaning and maintaining calf sheds and feeding equipment Assisting with general calf rearing tasks as required Following farm health and safety procedures Position Details: Casual position Drive-in role Farm located approximately 10 km from Rolleston Flexible hours during the calf rearing season Pay rate dependent on experience and skills Previous calf rearing experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right applicant We are looking for someone who is dependable, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working with animals in a farm environment.

The Dairy Calf Rearer will report to the Farm Manager as a member of the farm and production team. The key relationships you will have on-farm as a Dairy Calf Rearer will be with: • Dairy Farm Manager • Dairy farm team members including casuals • Health, safety and quality advisors Externally, your key relationships will be with: • Milk processing company staff • Farm maintenance contractors Health and Safety • Adhere to Pāmu’s Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times • Identify and report hazards/ danger, accidents, near misses, and property damage at work • Assist with the induction of new staff so that they are aware of company policies and how to do each task safely • Actively participate in activities associated with maintaining a safe and healthy workplace (e.g. training, intervening in unsafe practices, toolbox meetings, emergency preparedness) • Participate in all scheduled training and ensure current records of training are...
