We are taking expressions of interest for an assistant Manager/ Manager position.  1400 cows TAD, leading a team of 6 staff.  Must be experienced and confident leading teams. Excellent tractor skills.  Large herd experience ideal  Cows have collars , experience with Allflex also ideal. Thorough commitment to health and safety. Can do attitude. 

Note - Not all applicants will be contacted and you must be available for an on-farm interview Seeking 1 person for the 2025/26 season & beyond.   Applicant preferably someone who has done 2yrs of dairy farming on an irrigated property, but would be ok with taking someone who has done less but is motivated to learn and can do the very basics - setting a fence, drive a tractor. Farm details: The dairy platform is approx.190ha, with all run-off land on the boundary or in close proximity. We are located 5mins or 5km from the centre of Waimate , South Canterbury. Peak milk 780-800 cows through 40 aside herringbone, allflex & halter collars, in-shed feeding & pro-track. Irrigation: Most of the farm is under pivot, however there is K-Line that will also be moved twice a day for 5 days a week in peak irrigations season.
