We are seeking a motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to joun our team on a progressive, mostly hilly property (20% flat) near Temuka. This is a great learnig environment offering hands-on experience with modern farmoing infrastructure and daity technology. Key Responsibilities Milking: Effieciently milk 810 cows in a mnodern 54 bail rotary shed with inshed feeding and automatic teatspray.  Technology & Feeding: Work wih Allflex colloar for heat detection, mating and health monotoring, and assist with feeding on the feed pad. Irrigatin Management: Shift and maintain two centre pivors, two soft hose guns and a few k-lines. Stock & Pasture: Assist with daily animal health checks, stock movement, and general farm upkeep. Requierments: Must currently reside in New Zealand with valid work visa or be a resident. Must hold a full drivers lisence. Reliable, willing to learn and fomfortable working on hill country. The position involves supporting the Farm Managers in achieving the farm’s production and profit goals through assisting with the day-to-day operation of the farm, and to follow good animal health and welfare, and environmental practices We are located in Milford milking 750 cows on an 50 bail rotary shed.We utilize a system 3 farming setup with 750 spring calving cows. The farm is fully irrigated with 5 pivots, 4 guns, and a number of k-line sprinklers.
