We are looking for a drive in Calf Rearer/Relief milker for this current season 2026, from July til September with possible on-going work with Relief Milking throughout the year. Must have good experience in calf rearing, 1 farm has 200 and the 2nd farm has 260 spring calving cows. A good hourly rate offered depending on experience, must have reference and live in New Zealand in our area, we are not an accredited employer. We are looking for a farm assistant/ and Or Calf Rearer, to help with milking and calf rearing during the busy spring period, with the opportunity to continue if it suits both parties. We run 820 cows om a system 2 farm with strategic use of supplements and majority of cows are wintered off-farm. You will work alongside an inclusive farm manager who is looking for a team player with a positive attitude, who has high work standards, an open and honest approach and want to grow your career in the dairy industry. Haurua Pastural is located 20 minutes south east of Te Awamutu near Parawera. The dairy platform is 276 hectares effective with a 30ha runoff block, peak milking 820 cows through a 44-aside herringbone.
