We have two positions available, one farm is milking 650 cows and the other one is milking 550 cows. Both farms are 15 min south of TeAwamutu. Duties will include milking and all other general farm work. An ability to work within a team is most important. Some experience would be beneficial.

We run 820 cows om a system 2 farm with strategic use of supplements and majority of cows are wintered off-farm. Located 2km to Te Awamutu, this 'floating' position will be covering 3 smaller farms of 260, 300 & 150 cows.  Two farms are next to each other and one is a little further away.  The cowsheds are all herringbones from 16-26 a side. This will be a full time position, primarily on the 260 cow farm over calving, then covering the Farm Managers RDO's and other work over the 3 farms.  The position is stated 'fixed term' but will be until 31 May 2027.  We are seeking an experienced farmer with the right skills & ability to join our various farm teams.  Having great animal husbandry & being quiet & calm with the cows, good tractor experience and all general farm skills are a must, as is having the ability to use initiative, follow instructions, and at times work unspervised.   We are NOT an accredited employer.  As the house is only a 2 bedroom, the position will only suit a single, a couple, or a couple with 1 or 2 small children.  If you are living in NZ and are a...
