A new position has become available for a keen individual to join a Filipino team in all day to day aspects of dairy farming.    Experience on some level of management an advantage however training available with on farm owners.  Good stock management and some experience with repairs and maintenance required.   Split calving farm with 30 aside herringbone shed, acr's, and Cow Manager.  Very clean and tidy and excellent infrastructure.   Looking for an applicant that is interested in progressing in the dairy industry possible with us in coming years.  

We have a job for an experienced farm worker (12+ months) for a Herd Manager position on a 520-cow farm in the Tirau area, milking through a 50 Bail Rotary shed. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking and monitoring milk quality, training junior staff, stock handling and feeding (feed mgt), fencing, weed control, calving, calf rearing, shed maintenance & preparation, tractor operation for feeding out, baling, mowing and silage monitoring, recording and maintaining animal health and other general farm duties. Weekly hours are a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 55. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid   at the agreed overtime rate.   The schedule may vary; Roster will normally be 6 days on, 1 day off then 6 days on 2 days off when...

We are seeking a Dairy Farm Assistant with at least 6 months’ dairy farm experience to work on a 520-cow farm in the Tirau area, milking through a 50 Bail Rotary shed. You'll have a range of duties to keep you busy, interested and developing including: Milking twice a day shifting cows and feeding  fencing, weed control calving, calf rearing shed cleaning and setup identifying and alerting managers to sick cows Setting fences and other general farm duties. Weekly hours are a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 55. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid   at the agreed overtime rate.   The schedule may vary; Roster will normally be 6 days on, 1 day off then 6 days on 2 days off when work load allows.
