Farm Assistant - Waikato and Bay of Plenty We are looking for 2 farm assistants to join our team of 7 across 2 farms. We milk 550 spring-calving cows on a farm situated in Reporoa and 320 spring-calving cows on a farm situated in Rerewhakaaitu. Milking is done through a 50 a-side and a 32 a-side herringbone shed. Both farms have in-shed feed systems. Our ideal candidates will have a great attitude and a willingness to learn. You will be able to work well in a team and be punctual, reliable and honest. There will also be an opportunity for you to participate in further training as part of the role. Suitable candidates need a clean Police record and Drivers Licence The hourly rate for this role would be $25.00 per hour. Minimum guaranteed hours a week: 40 Job Description: - Milking cows twice a day - Setting up break fences - Weed spraying - Machinery maintenance - Moving young stock
