We are looking for an experienced Herd Manager for our 1050 cow farm on the edge of Paeroa. Milking through a 50 bale rotary cowshed with inshed feeding, autodrafting and auto heat detection. Roster is 8 days on and 2 days off.   You must have a minimum of 2 years experience and a Level 2 qualification The successful herd manager will have the following attributes: You will be self motivated and able to think for yourself. You will be driven to suceed in your work and like to see results. You will understand and take responsiblities for daily tasks such as running of the dairy, managing your herd, feeding.  You will be capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision and can supervise and train junior staff.  You will look for opportunities to work more effectively and efficiently to improve the business.
