We are looking for an honest, trustworthy, keen and passionate person to join a small dairy farm located on the Taieri. 10 mins from Mosgiel, 20 mins to Dunedin. We milk 400 cows with cow manager tags through a 20ash with auto draft and teat set up. Split between two herds of younger cows and older. We rear all young stock on a run off directly across from the dairy farm.  Must have experience in milking as we solo milk so must be able to work confidently on your own in the shed. Must be confident on 2 and 4 wheelers. Tractor experience is bonus but not necessary.  Jobs include daily break fencing and fencing maintenance. K-line shifting as we run 4 sets of pods. Stock handling such as drenching, weighing calves. Weed control. We support primary Ito courses if that’s the path you’re wanting to take.
