We have two position available for Dairy Farm Assistant roles, on our 1100-cow farm. The positions are based in Mokoreta area in New Zealand. These are full-time, permanent positions guaranteeing at least 30 hours of work per week, but you will usually work between 30 to 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $24 per hour. Dairy Farm Assistant is responsible for working closely with the contract milker/Assistant Manager/Herd Manager to run the farm efficiently. His primary focus is on the day-to-day operations of the farm, aiming to maximize productivity and efficiency. He collaborates with the contract milker and other farm management/staff. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Milking: Dairy Farm Assistant actively participates in milking operations.
