We are looking for an experienced and capable Dry stock & Dairy farm assistant to join our team in the Far North. This is a varied role combining approximately 30 hours per week of dry stock work with 15-20 hours assisting on the dairy farm. It would suit someone who enjoys working with stock, likes variety in their day and is capable of working independentlty. This is not an entry level position. We are looking for the right person to become a valued part of our team, rather than simply looking to fill a vacancy. About the role We are sharemilkers on a large dairy operation, with an extensive area also used for young stock, dry cows and other cattle. The successful applicant will work under our guidance, with clear grazing plans, rotations and systems in place. However, we need someone with enough experience and initiatve to manage their day-to-day workload without needing constant direction.
