Herd Manager – Dairy Farm (2026/27 Season) We are seeking an Herd Manager to join our dairy operation for the 2026/27 season . We are on the hunt for a relief milker / casual staff member to join our team. Located on Isleworth Road 5mins from Hinds, 25 Mins from Ashburton We milk 900 cows through a 60 bail Delaval shed with ACRs, Auto teat sprayer, inshed feeding, auto drafting and have the cowmager ear tags for heat detection and animal health. We pride ourselves on a clean, tidy enjoyable workplace. The ideal candidate would have attention to detail able to milk solo/ vat and plant wash ability to detect mastitis good communication skills can do attitude There is also potential for more work for the right person.
