We are seeking an experienced farm manager to join our team. The farm is local to Gore. The farm milks 800 cows through a rotary shed, we run a 5 on 2 off roster. 3 other full timers on farm plus seasonal calf rearer.  We are looking for someone that is motivated, reliable, good communication and can be a good role model to the team.  Previous farm management experience a must.  The role will include making pasture management decisions, management of the cowshed, managing the other staffs day to day, delegating jobs etc working with farm supervisor. Experienced Calf Rearer required, 4km North of Gore on Waimea Hwy. Rearing 300 replacements & selling 4 day old beef calves. You would be working with another to help reduce workload for a good work environment. This job starts beginning of Aug and runs until the end of September. Excellent purpose built calf sheds with underground milk line from dairy shed. Understanding of best practice animal health and growing good quality stock a must.
