We have a full-time position to fill working with an existing team of 3. Farm is located 10 minutes south of Cambridge milking 450 cows through a 44 aside with feed pad and mixing wagon. We require at least 2 years full time dairy farm experience. You would need to be confident in daily milkings, bringing in herds, shed hygiene and animal health. Pasture management and daily farm maintenance. We are more than happy to provide further training to upskill, or open to offer support to someone wanting to take a step up in their farming career as 2IC. We are looking for an employee to assist on our dairy farm near Cambridge for 3 months while one of the farm owners has surgery.  The farm is 108 hectares, milking approximately 315 cows at peak.  We milk twice a day through a 23 aside herringbone cowshed with cup removers, Protrack and Allflex Collars.  We require someone who is reliable and honest  and who is able to assist the farm owner/senior employee from late August to end of November (3 months). The role will include milking cows, feeding calves, setting up breaks for cows, cleaning equipment/facilities and other general farm work.
