Calf Rearer Required, Full Responsibility Role We are looking for an experienced and reliable calf rearer to take full responsibility for our calf-rearing season. This is a drive-in, drive-out role. We are located in Ohaupo, within approximately 15 minutes of both Cambridge and Te Awamutu. The role will run from 1 July through to 1 October, on an 11 days on, 3 days off roster. We are calving 285 cows, with approximately 140 calves reared through to weaning. This role involves taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the calf shed. Main duties include calf feeding, general calf shed management, monitoring calf health, keeping calves clean, dry and well-bedded, helping collect calves, navel spraying, managing calf groups, cleaning feeding equipment, maintaining calf records, and communicating clearly with the farm owners.
