drive in only relief milking job + general farm duties $30 per hour 50 bale rotary 1 or 2 weeks of avaible work we are drying off our 400 cow herd, down to less than half but hopefully will continue to milk all through the season. currently 6am cups on. afternoons is 3pm cups on, only 30-40min afternoon milkings not including cow collection and cleaning down. main farm duties would include dusting/fencing and possibly feeding out. how many extra hours available for you out of our shorter milking times would depend on your fencing skills etc

We have an opportunity for a casual staff member to help us on our two farms over the calving and mating period (July-Dec). We have two dairy farms both running 300 cows located 10mins North of Morrinsville. The role will mainly involve milking and some small duties either side of milking like collecting cows or cleaning up. The hours will be roughly 20-30hrs per week and are to help during the days staff are rostered off, you will most likely be working directly with the farm owner. 110 Hectare easy rolling farm just out of Te Poi. Modern 50 bale rotary, inshed feeding, ACRs, Auto teat spray, drafting gate. Halter collars on cows. We are looking for a Relief milker that is capable of working predominately sole charge. We are husband/wife sharemilkers with no staff, looking for a reliable relief milker so that we can have some time off. Recently renovated 3 bedroom house available on farm if required. Milk for rent is an option.  Experience is essential & must currently be based in New Zealand.
