We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Sheep Milking Farm. This year we plan to milk 850 ewes and carry 150 Beef Cattle. We are a busy farm located minutes from Te Awamutu with lots of variety. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to try out the sheep dairy industry. 110 Hectare easy rolling farm just out of Te Poi. Modern 50 bale rotary, inshed feeding, ACRs, Auto teat spray, drafting gate. Halter collars on cows. We are looking for a Relief milker that is capable of working predominately sole charge. We are husband/wife sharemilkers with no staff, looking for a reliable relief milker so that we can have some time off. Recently renovated 3 bedroom house available on farm if required. Milk for rent is an option.  Experience is essential & must currently be based in New Zealand.

Releif milker required for the 26/27 due to current reliever unable to continue on.  350 cows, Inshed feeding, alflex collars and automatic drafting. Flat to rolling country.  The relief milker will be required for 3-4 days a week from the 1st of September until the 31st of May 2027.  Accommodation can be provided at $250 pw, deducted from wages (power and internet included) 3 bedroom warm home, new carpet, garage and a fully fenced section. Farm is located in ohakune, friendly quiet cows. No experience needed, and extra work can be available during calving and busy periods.  This is fixed term only for one season.
