We are looking for a reliable and motivated relief milker/farm hand to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals, takes pride in their work and is happy to help wherever needed on the farm. Previous dairy experience is preferred. Key responsibilities: Milking cows efficiently while maintaining high milk quality standards Bring cows to and from the shed  Assisting with animal health and general stock work  Keeping the shed clean  General farm maintenance, weed control and other farm tasks  What we are looking for: Honest and reliable  Able to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills  A strong work ethic and positive attitude Accommodation may be available for the right applicant.

We are on the hunt for an extra team member to assist us over the season to lighten the load on the rest of the team, as this is a drive in position a requirement will be a current drivers license and reliable transport. Happy to offset fuel costs on top of hourly rate, all is negotiable. experience milking large herds in a rotary would be beneficial but not crucial. The farm is located 5 minutes drive from Tokoroa township We milk 1100 cows through a fully automated 60 bail waikato rotary. (ACR, ATS, Auto-wash, Auto Draft) Our ideal applicant will milk on an 8/2 roster, but this is negotiable depending on the applicant. this position could be fixed term or year long depending on your requirements.
