We are looking for our next superstar to join our team, you will work alongside the contract milker and 2ic milking 600 cows through our 27 aside twin pit herringbone shed with protrack and cow manager tags.1 to 2 years experience is preferred but training can be provided if you have the right attitude and willingness to learn. Your key duties would be but aren't limited to, helping with the day-to-day operations of the dairy farm, ensuring the smooth running of tasks related to milking, feeding, animal care, and farm maintenance. The role is hands-on and requires both physical work and a basic understanding of farm operations.  Our farm is located 5 minutes from Otautau and 20 minutes from Winton, this job comes with a 3 bedroom home, remuneration will be  based on experience Please send your cv with 2 references if you would like to apply, note we are NOT accredited employers  you must reside in New Zealand 

Has to be in New Zealand. Milking 1100 cows through 2 54 bail rotary sheds so milk 550 through one shed. We have different nationalities so need to get along with anyone. You will be required to communicate with us, ride 2 and 4 wheel motorbikes, have full drivers license as we have a run off for winter. Stock skills, fencing  ,milking cows, feeding cows. dealing with the hospital mob, picking up mastitis cows.  Drive tractor, if not we can teach you. Cows wintered off farm feeding grass and silage. Due to one of our team member's moving on, we require an honest, trustworthy, reliable and punctual team member to join our current team at Castlerock in Northern Southland. The ideal candidate will not be afraid to get their hands dirty and must be physically fit. They must adhere to our company Health & Safety policies and procedures and be willing to undertake random drug testing. They must have the necessary visa to work in New Zealand. The successful candidate will work as part of our team to assist with milking, treating animals, getting cows in and locking away, weed control, putting up and taking down temporary fences, calf rearing, assist with calving. pasture management and other general farm duties. Dairy experience is essential, and a willingness to learn is paramount. We encourage AgIto training. Roster is 6 on 2 off Aug/Sept then 8 on 2 off/8 on 3 off for the remainder of the season.
