This is a drive in position - no accommodation available We are seeking a reliable Farm Assistant to assist with milking and the general day to day work on a 430 cow farm located 5 minutes from Inglewood. Farm is flat and cows are milked through a 36 a side herringbone shed. Young stock raised on attached runoff The person we seek must have at least 1 year New Zealand dairy farming experience or experience in a related industry that can be a benefit on the farm Duties will include Milking twice a day mornings are 5:30am start, afternoons 3pm start, taking approximately 2.5 hours Identifying animal health issues Shifting cows and feeding out as required Calving, calf rearing Basic farm maintenance – fencing, repairing water lines And other general farm duties.
