Dairy farm assistant required 20 minutes south of Whangarei. Great roster of 4 and 2. 2 days milking and other farm work, 2 days farm work, 2 days off. Each workday has a 1 hour breakfast break and 2 hour lunch break.  Current staff love it. You will be required to help with the daily running of the farm, covering all aspects of dairy farming. Ability to work in a multicultural team environment is very important. Previous farming experience is an advantage, remuneration depends upon experience. Senior Farm Assistant position available working along side farm owners and two other staff member. 450 cows. TAD. 40 ASHB. . The applicant must be self motivated, reliable and honest person to help with general farm duties and milking cows. Have at least 3 years NZ experience. Keen to progress. Have basic knowledge and understanding of farm duties, milking, animal health, effluent management, and calf rearing. Must have basic tractor experience. Ability to work alone and within a team. Good communication and shows efficiency. Can pass a drug test. Provide 2 x references Applicants must have NZ residency or right to work in NZ.
