We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic farm assistant to join our dairy farm. We are a family owned and operated farm located in Te Kopuru, Northland.  We operate a split calving  OAD 400 Cow dairy unit with two support blocks for young stock. The role of Farm Assistant will require you to be milking assisting with milk quality and animal health, assisting with feeding animals assisting with dairy shed hygiene, effluent management and general farm work. You must work well within a team and be willing to learn and have excellent communication skills. We run Halter and full training will be given to the successful applicant.  You must be able to operate a tractor and 4 wheel motorbike.  Be quiet around livestock and be physically fit, reliable and tidy. You must be drug free and able to pass random drug tests.
