Description : We are seeking a farm assistant to join our team, which currently consists of 1.5 staff members, to assist with a herd of 300 cows in a 30-aside herringbone shed. The responsibilities for this position include herding cows, milking, fence setup, and weed spraying. Experience with tractor operation, quad bikes, or two-wheelers would be beneficial. Requirements: Candidates should possess a strong affinity for animals and demonstrate excellent stockmanship. Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate two or more years experience on an industrial dairy operation, doing similar work, or be able to demonstrate a relevant formal qualification at Level 4 or higher on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF).
