We’re on the lookout for a motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to join our friendly team on a 650 and 550-cow farm. Experience is preferred but not required for this role.  We milk through a 50-bail rotary shed and 40 AS Herringbone shed and offer a wide variety of daily tasks to keep you learning and engaged, including: Milking (twice a day) Shifting cows & feeding out Fencing & general maintenance Weed control Calving & calf rearing Shed cleaning & setup Spotting sick cows & alerting the manager and other general farm duties Weekly hours are a minimum of 35 and a maximum of 50. Since farm work is dependent on a number of unknown factors like weather and animals, any hours worked beyond the agreed maximum in a fortnightly pay period will be paid   at the agreed overtime rate. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Farm Assistant to join our dairy farming operation. This role involves assisting with all aspects of the day-to-day running of the farm, including milking, animal health, feeding, pasture management, fencing, calf rearing, and general farm maintenance. The successful applicant will work closely with the Farm Manager and wider team to ensure high standards of animal welfare, milk quality, farm presentation, and health and safety are maintained. Previous dairy farming experience is advantageous; however, applicants with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn will also be considered
