Due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking for a reliable and motivated farm assistant to join our team. We are located 20 minutes inland of Kumara with a 242ha Dairy Farm, 50ha Run Off Block, and a 50ha Lease Block. We are milking 500 cows through a 44ashb with in shed meal feeding on a grass base system. Our role for our farm assistant will vary from: *Getting cows in and out of paddocks safely *Milking cows and assisting with herd management *Fencing and general farm maintenance *Learning about effluent and shifting the effluent spreader *Tractor work *Assisting in weighing and drenching young stock We are happy to train the right person and provide opportunities to progress into higher-responsibility roles over time.
