3 couple required jobs found

We are a large-scale dairy farm just outside of Mossburn, Northern Southland.  We are looking for 2 calf rearers to join our team for the upcoming season starting 25th of July and finishing end of September / early October (exact dates are negotiable). This job would ideally suit a couple or 2 friends. Roster is 6/1 or 6/2 depending on the time of the season.  Ideally some experience of caring for animals or working on a farm is preferred but not essential. The key attributes we are looking for is stamina and grit, a great attitude to work, easy to get along with, happy to get their hands dirty (literally), patience, awareness of health and safety, genuine care and consideration for animals and a sense of humour. Conversational English is also required. We use large equipment so you will need to learn how to drive 4 wheelers, a large truck, tow trailers and operate pumps. We require a calf rearer for the spring.  Ideally the applicant will be reliable, strong and able to work in all weathers.  The position could work around school hours, or twice a day, but is seven days a week, for a minimum of eight weeks, to get us through the busy period.   If interested relief milking could also be available over the entire season.   No experience required as full training will be provided.   You must be currently living in New Zealand and eligible to work in New Zealand to apply for this job.
