We are looking for an experienced calf rearer for the 2026/27 season located in Papakaio, 10 minutes north of Oamaru. We calve 850 cows keeping 300 replacement heifers and beef calves with the remainder sold as Bobby calves. This is a sole charge position and you will be responsible for all day to day feeding and health treatments, keeping the shed clean and tidy and also maintaing stong hygienic practices. You must be hard working and a team player who can problem solve. This is a Drive in position as there is no accomodation available. You will report to the Contract Milker Competitive hourly rate You must be a New Zealand Citizen or resident to apply for this role

We are on the look out for a relief milker/ and or a calf rearer for the 26/27season.  Role will be assisting in milking the ladies, twice daily until end of December then back to once a day   You will always be milking with someone else in the shed, who will do plant wash etc, depending on person we may train up to do vat wash, etc if that is something they are interested in.  This role can be flexible with days depending on what the successful applicate requires  Pay will depend on experience of applicate This role is a drive in position, 10 minutes to Kurow and Duntroon and 40 minutes to Oamaru

we are looking for a reliable calf Rearer to join our team for the up coming calving season, some experience would be ideal as you will be working alone most of time, jobs would include tubing new born's ,teaching to feed on feeders, administering medication to any sick ones, we are an adlib farm so keeping feeding barrels and trophs clean to insure we dont get scours in the pens. Some extra work on farm may be available to make up hours at the start, that can be discussed at the interview. We can offer temporary accommodation just over calving if needed. You must have patience and a down to earth attitude, also have a love and kindness for animals.
