Plateau farm We are looking for a reliable and motivated Calf Rearer to join our team. Our farm milks 800  cows  on  315 hectares  and rears approximately  260 replacement heifers and jersey bull calves each year. This role involves feeding and caring for calves, monitoring animal health, maintaining clean calf-rearing facilities, and helping ensure calves achieve excellent growth and welfare standards. We are currently looking for someone with farming experience to take on a permanent role on farm from late October 2026. The successful applicant must provide up to date references and be eligible to work in NZ. Position would include Calving, Calf rearing, feeding out and milking etc depending on experience. A Tidy 2 Bedroom house is available that would suit a couple or a small family. We Calve down approximately 280 cows from 1st March and 250 from 1st August, both herds mated for 8 weeks.
