Located at Korakonui, 25 min to Te Awamutu, 20 min to Otorohanga, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Calf Rearer  to join our farming operation for the upcoming calf-rearing season rearing approximately 700 calves. This position is part time, fixed term. Daily tasks include:  feeding and care of calves, m onitoring calf health and wellbeing, c leaning and maintaining calf-rearing facilities, a ssisting with all general calf management tasks as part of a team. Previous calf-rearing experience is essential as well as g ood stock sense and attention to detail with animal welfare, the a bility to work independently and as part of a team, r eliable, hardworking, and physically fit, competent in using a 4 wheeler and S-B-S.  The successful applicant must be living in New Zealand, NZ residents only, have a current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle.
