We have a well-paid 3-7 month contract starting ASAP for Calf Rearers (one doing calf rearing; one doing general farm work) based in the Oamaru area. Would be great if you have previous calf rearing experience! This role is on 650 and 550-cow farm, milking through both 40 AS Herringbone and 50 Bail Rotary sheds. Responsibilities include: Calf rearing, including feeding and caring for calves Identifying and alerting managers to sick cows Performing other general farm duties Milking after calving season Ideal candidates will have: Previous dairy farming experience (preferred) A good attitude, initiative, and a strong work ethic (mandatory) Some experience in dairy farming, large animal care, or agriculture/viticulture/horticulture Motorbike and quad driving skills (mandatory for some jobs, not all) Good English communication skills A valid driver’s license (international licenses good) and your own vehicle The...
