This is drive in position available from 20th July till late September. Must have drivers license  Farm is 17miniutes from Ashburton town and 15 minutes from methven.  Rearing 280 replacement calves . Must be physically fit . No experience necessary training provided on farm. 

We are looking for a calf rearer to come and join our team of 3. This role will have sole charge of rearing 150 heifer replacements, training is provided. There would also be the option to help with milking in the mornings.  We milk 610 cows through a 54-bale rotary with protrack with smaXtec animal monitoring. The roster is 6 days on and 2 days off, this could be negotiable. Position is from mid-late July through to mid-late September. A fully furnished one bedroom cottage is available on the farm.  Pay based on experience.  Please not the job is only for 8-10 weeks and applicant must have a visa to be able to work in New Zealand. 

Calve rearer required to help rear approximately 300 calves. Would prefer the applicant to have had experience in tubing/tagging and performing animal health on calves. The applicant will need to be physically fit as the job is physically demanding. Paid hourly (approx 5 hours a day, early morning and afternoon), 7 days a week. Start date middle of July and finish in the middle of October Must have a car. This is a drive-in role as the farm is situated 10 minutes from Ashburton. Portacom accomodation provided during the day.
