We are on the lookout for two staff members to join our small team based 20 minutes out of invercargill in Southland My partner and I contract milk two farms two minutes apart milking 420 spring calving friesian cows on each farm. We are looking for a 2ic and a farm assistant for the upcoming season starting June the 1st. Though we would be happy for someone to start earlier than this. Both farms have excellent infrastructure and machinery including a 40 aside herring-bone and 50 bail rotary sheds with acrs, in shed feeding and automated wash and drafting systems. Both farms also utilise wintering barns/feed pads and are maintained to a very high standard. We are very passionate about our stock and strive for the best results. We set high standards of animal health, dairy hygiene and general farm tidiness. The 2IC role will be based full time on one of the farm while the farm assistant will work between both properties with transport provided. We will run a 6 on 1 off...

Excellent tractor skills.  Large herd experience ideal  Cows have collars , experience with Allflex also ideal. Thorough commitment to health and safety. Can do attitude.

2IC role - 930 cows Our business is expanding and we are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our existing team in Clydevale/Rongahere. This role will be on our 930 cow unit, which will run alongside the neighboring 300 cow farm we have just purchased. The successful applicant will be a key member of our team and, while focused on the 930 cow farm, you will occasionally assist across both units. We are hands-on and supportive employers, and this role would suit someone looking to step up and grow within a progressive dairy business. We are on the Hunt for 2 staff members a 2ic and a herd manager on our farm 10 minutes to whangarei 15 minutes to Ngungaru. We run 3 farms all close to whangarei 1500 cows in total so plenty of progression for the right person. There is 1 4 bedroom house for the 2 staff members. Must have good references.
