We are taking expressions of interest for an assistant Manager/ Manager position.  1400 cows TAD, leading a team of 6 staff.  Must be experienced and confident leading teams. Excellent tractor skills.  Large herd experience ideal  Cows have collars , experience with Allflex also ideal. Thorough commitment to health and safety. Can do attitude. 

Permanent - Full Time   Our beautiful 160Ha farm is located on flat land and just a 5 mins drive to Methven town centre, where there are excellent schools, cafes and supermarkets etc and with Mt Hutt right on our doorstep if you enjoy winter sports.   Milking our beautiful 630 cows through a 60-bail rotary with ACR and auto drafting, we will expect you to have strong production experience and you must also be at the top of your game when it comes to shed hygiene and animal health and wellbeing, as well as being a capable tractor driver, so a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience here in NZ is essential.   Offering a good healthy work life balance, we work on a 6/2 roster all year round and we have a lovely modern 2-bedroom home located on farm, we are offering a salary of between $30 to $35 per hour including $250 per week for accommodation.    We offer a minimum of 30 hours per week.   In return we will expect you to be able to hit the ground the running...
