We are seeking an experienced, motivated, reliable, outgoing COUPLE to join our team here in the Kaponga area.   Milking 650 cows through a 44 aside HB and general day to day farm duties. Must have good communication skills and be able to work both individually as well as in a team.   Experience needed.  Confident in a tractor. Relief milkings and calf rearing available for partner.   Nz residents please.

As this job will entail  The use of Halter Must be quiet around stock A Modern 54 cow rotary shed  A Redpath shelter for feeding/wintering/ calving cows in. Good tidy machinery. The farm has a support block 5 min away that the young stock go to. We are: Our Farm is 290 effective hectares of dairy platform with youngstock reared on additional land on the farm. Located 10 mins from Inglewood and 15 mins from New Plymouth, we are transitioning back to a fully spring calving operation milking 650 crossbred cows through a 54-bale rotary shed with in-shed feeding auto teat sprayer and protrack drafting gate. The farm system is level 1-2 with a strong focus on pasture, supported by a small amount of imported supplement which is predominantly an in-shed blend, and maize grown on farm.
