We require a 2IC to join our team , milking 950 cows through a 48 HB shed with cup removers, automatic teat spray, a fully automated irrigation system and new automated collar drafting system. A good sense of humour and a great team ethic is a must. 2IC/Manager with at least 2 years experience , the successful applicant will need to know how to milk, set up shed, do the wash, feed out, fences, weed control, irrigation , organize a team of 3 or 4 workers and do any other jobs the share -milker requires.Roster 5 on 2 off. We have a job available for an Assistant Farm Manager  with at least 2+ years' experience on a 1150-cow farm in the Whataroa area, milking through a 70 Bail Rotary shed. Top 400 cows twice a day, the rest once a day morning only, everything once a day March to end of May. We have a system that allows for not getting cows in, they walk themselves to milking while the coffees being drunk. Calves are grazed off farm from January till they return in May the following year as in calf. All ground work is done in house so plenty of tractor work available. We are looking for a permanent staff member to jump aboard our team once our Scottsman's visa has run out in November. Preferably chasing a character that knows how to jump into battle when the busy time is on.
