We require a 2IC to assist with the day to day running of our 900 cow dairy farm 12 minutes out of Bulls Manawatu. We have a great team and we are looking for the right person who will fit in as team culture is really important to us. The successful applicant must be honest, reliable, enthusiastic, motivated and positive. The successful applicant must have excellent communication skill, a minimum of 3 years dairy farming experience, must be confident in the dairy shed, with operating machinery and have basic pasture management skills.  Qualifications would be an advantage but full training will be provided. Duties and responsibilities include: milking, animal health, feeding out, calving, mating and general farm maintenance.  The applicants must be willing to undergo a drug test. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic farmworker/2ic to join our high-performing dairy farm in the Pohangina valley. starting 10th July 2026. You will work with 200 Friesian cows, milked through a 24 ashb with ACRs, Protrack, in-shed feeding, cow manager and irrigated paddocks. Requirements: - Experience working on dairy farms would be helpful but not essential - Strong work ethic and positive attitude - Excellent communication and time management skills - Commitment to developing skills and learning - Legally entitled to work in New Zealand - Understanding of animal health and welfare monitoring

THIS POSITION IS ONLY FOR NZ residents and citizens, must be currently in NZ. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are looking for someone to start 15th July, 5 minutes from Woodville, 15 min from Palmerston North,  700 cows' fully self contained with a beef calf rearing operation on the side.l Split calving 600 Spring 100 Autumn All youngstock on farm, 2 cow sheds 18aside and 37 aside at different ends of the farm,  In-Shed feeding in both sheds 37 aside has ACR's, Auto teat spray and Auto draft. We have halter collars on all cows, (our 4th season with Halter) Brand new house (2 years old) 3 bedrooms plus office, We are award winning operators; our current full-time staff have been with us for 8 and 9 years respectively.  We will cater this position depending on experience, farm assistant to herd manager.  We encourage and support ITO training, and for the right person there will be future opportunities to progress within our business.
